T. Rex Tribute Album

A T. Rex tribute album is in the works from American producer Hal Willner. Contributors for the album include Kesha and Marc Almond, who sings on a “chamber music”-style version of “Teenage Dream” that was arranged by J.G. Thirlwell. U2 are also contributing to the project, according to The Edge. In a recent interview (via the U2Songs fansite), he said that the band was currently in a studio in New Orleans “in the middle of recording a track for a friend who’s putting a T.Rex tribute record together.”
